안녕하세요, 교수학습개발원 원격교육센터입니다.
코로나19 이후, 우리 대학은 원활한 비대면 수업 운영을 위해 학습관리시스템 블랙보드와 다양한 온라인 강의 도구들을 제공하고 있습니다.
교내 구성원이 사용하는 교수·학습 인프라 사용량이 증가하여 무제한으로 제공하기 어려운 상황입니다.
방역 상황의 장기화 그리고 매 학기의 수업 운영 지원을 위하여 기존 데이터 삭제 일정을 다음과 같이 안내합니다.

- 내용 : 2021학년도에 해당하는 강의자료 및 데이터 삭제
※ 해당 기간 : 2021년 01월 ~ 2022년 2월
※ 참고 도표에 기재되어있는 온라인 시스템 내 2021학년도 강의자료들은 2022년 3월 8일(화)자로 삭제될 예정이오니,
필요하신 강의자료, 녹화물, 데이터 일체를 미리 백업(다운로드)해주시기 바랍니다. - 📌백업 가능 기간 : 2022년 2월 1일 ~ 2022년 2월 28일, 2월 한 달간
- 📌삭제 예정 일시 : 2022년 3일 8일 (화) 오후 4시

1. 2022학년도 1학기부터 칼투라 사용이 중단되나요?
: 네, 그렇습니다. 2022학년도 1학기 (22.03.01.)부터 칼투라 미팅과 미디어 갤러리를 더 이상 지원하지 않습니다.
디지털 전환의 국면에 따른 데이터 처리 및 온라인 강의 도구의 단일화에 따른 불가피한 선택이었음을 양해 부탁드립니다.
2. 블랙보드에 수업한 자료들도 포함이 되나요?
: 네, 그렇습니다. 21학년도의 모든 수업과 관련한 자료들이 삭제될 예정입니다. 코스 자체도 삭제되오니 참고 부탁드립니다.
3. 저는 콜라보레이트 실시간 강의로 수업했는데 뭘 지우나요?
: 교수님께서 필요하신 출결데이터를 우선 저장해주세요. 수업 도중 녹화를 진행하셨다면, 녹화물 다운로드가 가능합니다.
4. 저는 줌으로 수업했는데, 영상이 있는걸 어디서 확인하나요?
: 실시간 Zoom 화상 회의 도중 녹화(Recording)를 하셨나요? 미팅룸 저장 경로는 기본적으로 본인의 컴퓨터의 내문서 > Zoom 폴더입니다.
저장경로를 ‘클라우드 레코딩’으로 변경하셨다면, Zoom 웹사이트(korea-ac-kr.zoom.us)를 확인해보세요.
5. 나의 KUve는 무엇인가요?
: 칼투라가 제공하는 클라우드입니다. 각 코스별 Kaltura탭에서 확인이 가능하며, 블랙보드 도구 페이지 – ‘My KUve’에서도 칼투라 영상물 확인이 가능합니다.
6. 저 이미 삭제된 것 아닌가요? 이미 지나간 학기들의 수업은 제 블랙보드에서 안보여요.
: 앗, 이미 지난 학기가 우선순위에서 제외되어 후순위로 떨어졌기 때문인 것 같습니다. 한 번 블랙보드에서의 ‘학기 필터링’을 이용해보시겠어요?

7. 토론실(Discusson Board)의 경우, 학생들이 자유롭게 기고한 글이나 혹은 업로드한 붙임파일은 일괄 다운로드하는 기능이 없나요?
: 네, 현재로서 그렇습니다. 블랙보드 사측에서 아직 개발하지 않은 기능으로 현재 지원이 어려운 점 양해 부탁드립니다.

Hello, this is the Distance Learning Center of the CTL.
After COVID19 begin, our university has been providing a learning management system (LMS) with various online teaching-learning tools for smooth non-face-to-face class operation.
However, it is no longer available to provide without limit as the number of teaching and learning infrastructure data used by KU members exponentially grows.
Data deletion is scheduled as follows to provide an enhanced environment for online lectures under the prolonged social-distancing situation.

※ Period : January 2021 – February 2022
※ Including videos and materials, all data will be deleted on March 8th, 2022.
Please refer to the table below and delete data in advance.
- Back-up available period: February 1st, 2021 – February 28th, 2022 ( for a month )
Deletion Date : March 8th,, 2022 (Wed) 4:00 p.m. - Deleted data cannot be recovered. Please be sure to back up (download) original data within the period.
- Kaltura Meeting & Media will be closed from March 2022
- In accordance with the 「Regulations for the operation of distance learning subjects(원격수업교과목 운영 내규)」, the usage period of teaching-learning infrastructure is within a semester.
Also, professors must keep the lecture materials, exams, and grading data in accordance with the 「Enforcement Rules for Curriculum Organization and Operation」 of KU. In relation to data retention, KU CTL cannot provide a permanent storage services.
Distance Learning Center has made this decision to maintain a stable LMS(Blackboard) and teaching/learning infrastructure like Collaborate. Based on the opinions of our members, we will seek various ways to provide improved system.

FAQ.
– Are the files on ‘Course Material’ tab also included?
: Yes, it is. All data uploaded within the period will be deleted. Regarding the capacity of serving systems, please keep the original data of the past for a more comfortable teaching and learning environment.

– Is KU no longer supporting Caltura?
: Yes, it is. This decision was made due to issues related to the unification of various online teaching tools and data retention.
Our department would like to ask for your kind understanding of the KU professors.
– My lecture was on real-time using Collaborate. What do I have to concern?
: Please save attendance report you need. If you record the lecture during teaching, recorded video will be shown on ‘List of Recordings’. Download it if it’s needed.
– My lecture was on real-time using ZOOM. Where can I fine my recordings?
: Did you click ‘record’ button during class? If so, it may have been stored directly on your computer, or it could have been stored on cloud. Check out ‘Cloud Recordings’ page on KU-ZOOM (korea-ac-kr.zoom.us).
-What is ‘My KUve’?
: It is a cloud provided by Kaltura. You can check it on the Kaltura tab of each course, or on the Blackboard tool page.
– I cannot find my lecture course on Blackboard. Isn’t it already deleted from Blackboard?
: It might be not listed on Blackboard course tab due to its semester passed. Passed semester’s courses do not have priority.
But you can easily sort with semester filter on top. Please refer this online tutorial : How to Setting Semester on Blackboard Course tab / https://ibook.korea.ac.kr/Viewer/LMS-SEMESTER.
-How to download thread or attached files form Discussion Board? I couldn’t find where to download whole thread from specific forum at Discussion Board.
: So sorry that there is no tools about it on discussion board. Our department already contacted Blackboard team to figure out more convenient way, but was told still not serving yet.
